Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie on a temporary basis to join a luxury hotel in Ballito. This role is ideal for a chef with strong culinary skills, capable of maintaining high standards in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items to the hotel’s culinary standards
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
Maintain high hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
Support senior chefs and work collaboratively with kitchen staff
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Assist with special events and banquets as required
Requirements & Skills:
Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent experience
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen protocols
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
