Job Summary
We are a technology consulting firm partnering with a leading telecommunications client to appoint a highly skilled Automation Test Manager for an initial 6-month contract.
This role will focus on defining and establishing a scalable API framework, with a strong emphasis on automation, testing strategy, and alignment to TM Forum (TMF) standards.
What you'll do:
- Analysis & Design
- Conduct current state assessments and gap analysis of existing API and testing capabilities
- Define a target-state architecture and API framework to support long-term operationalisation
- Design and implement:
- API standards and design guidelines
- Governance models and processes
- Operating models and API lifecycle frameworks
- Develop a comprehensive automated testing strategy, including:
- Conformance testing
- Regression testing
- Automation frameworks for API validation
- Ensure alignment with TM Forum (TMF) standards and industry best practices
- Produce high-quality end-to-end documentation to enable enterprise-wide adoption
- Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automation Test Manager / Test Architect in complex environments
- Strong experience in API testing, automation strategies, and frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end testing strategies for enterprise environments
- TM Forum (TMF) experience (essential)
- Experience in:
- API governance and lifecycle management
- Conformance and regression testing methodologies
- Defining scalable testing frameworks
- Strong analytical, design, and documentation skills
Your Expertise:
- Experience working within a telecommunications environment
- Familiarity with large-scale, multi-system integration landscapes
- Ability to translate strategy into practical testing frameworks and execution models
- Strong stakeholder engagement and alignment capability
- Focus on standardisation, scalability, and automation
- Ability to deliver within tight timelines and high-impact programmes
