Job Summary
We are a leading technology consulting firm seeking 2 Enterprise Azure Architects to join our team on an initial 3-month contract based in Johannesburg.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact Azure transformation initiative, with a strong focus on tenant-to-tenant migrations, identity architecture, and enterprise-scale Azure environments.
What you'll do:
- Lead and design enterprise Azure architecture solutions aligned to business and technical requirements
- Drive and deliver Azure tenant-to-tenant migration projects
- Architect and implement identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Design and enforce Azure governance frameworks, including management groups, subscriptions, policies, and landing zones
- Provide expertise across security, monitoring, and baseline controls
- Oversee Azure networking architecture, including DNS, firewalls, private endpoints, and integrations
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer
- Engage with stakeholders and provide clear architectural guidance and communication
Your Expertise:
- Senior-level experience in Azure Enterprise Architecture
- Proven track record delivering Azure tenant-to-tenant migrations
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Hands-on experience with:
- App registrations & enterprise applications
- Service principals & managed identities
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Conditional access policies
- Deep knowledge of:
- Azure governance (management groups, subscriptions, policies, landing zones)
- Azure security & monitoring practices
- Azure networking (DNS, certificates, firewalls, private endpoints, integrations)
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
