Lead the engineering integration of vehicle accessory systems, ensuring products are designed, validated, and released to meet customer, quality, cost, and timing requirements. This role serves as the technical lead for vehicle integration projects while managing and developing an engineering team.
Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 8 years' experience in automotive engineering
Proven track record of delivering automotive product development projects from concept to production
Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of automotive development processes: SOR, DFMEA/PFMEA, DVPR, PPAP, APQP, and Engineering Change Management
Experience with vehicle electrical architecture and CAN communication
Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Siemens NX
Strong experience working with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams
Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers
Manage engineering resources, KPIs, workloads, and project delivery
Lead vehicle accessory integration projects involving wiring harnesses, sensors, electronic modules, and related components
Review and approve engineering designs and technical documentation
Drive problem-solving and root cause analysis using 8D methodology
Ensure compliance with automotive development processes, including SOR, DFMEA/PFMEA, DVPR, PPAP, APQP, and Engineering Change Management
Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Suppliers, and Customers
Oversee product development from concept through production, including CAD models, BOMs, prototypes, and manufacturing documentation
Support RFQ reviews, technical scoping, and quotation development
Analyse vehicle electrical systems, CAN networks, and electrical architecture
Drive cost-reduction initiatives and supplier performance management
Travel as required to support project activities
