We’re seeking a compassionate, and physically and mentally energetic live-in companion to support a wonderful, independently minded 52-year-old autistic woman. This rotational role (bi-weekly) offers the chance to build a meaningful connection while supporting daily life in a calm and culturally rich home.
She enjoys walks, crafts, and deeply values the Arts—including theatre, cinema, music performances, ballet, and other cultural activities. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, creativity, and a great sense of humour—someone who can introduce fun and lightness into everyday routines while maintaining a courteous, polished presence.
An openness to learning and a commitment to collaborative development are essential, including readiness to be trained and supported by a multi-disciplinary team in best practices for working with neurodiverse individuals. The ability to take be pro-active and take initiative along with a strong commitment to person-centred care and empathetic communication is essential.
Main Purpose of the job:
To offer company and personalised guidance and support, in daily activities and living. A special interest and passion in neurodiversity and being a secure, long-term source of support are of the utmost importance.
The candidate will be trained by the NDC Facilitation Academy and thereafter receive personalised support from the Facilitation Academy for up to 4-6 weeks, working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
