Job Title: Senior Desktop Support Engineer Location: Africa (Onsite & Remote) Experience: 3–5 Years Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide advanced IT support, manage end-user devices, and ensure seamless operation of Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications and have strong experience in modern workplace technologies. Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced desktop and device support for Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments. Manage, deploy, and troubleshoot end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Configure, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intone) and other device management tools. Resolve complex IT issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Collaborate with IT teams to implement updates, patches, and security measures. Document procedures, create knowledge base articles, and provide end-user training. Support onboarding and off boarding processes for employees’ IT equipment. Required Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in desktop support or IT operations. Certifications: CompTIA A+ IT Fundamentals+ (ITF+) Modern Workplace / Windows certifications (MD-102, Windows 10/11, M365, Device Management) Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Expert knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and troubleshooting
Good working knowledge of macOS (preferred)
Strong hardware troubleshooting skills (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals
