? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a pioneering African ecotourism collective operating intimate, conservation-led camps across some of the continent's most remote and biodiverse wilderness areas, for an experienced and connected ????? ??????? An established and active trade network in either North America (USA and Canada) or Europe — with relationships across agents, tour operators and safari specialists is essential Our client is a well-established, owner-run safari operator with a philosophy built around authentic wild experiences, exceptional guiding, and a deep commitment to conservation and community. Running a small portfolio of intimate camps — each carefully positioned in extraordinary, off-the-beaten-track locations across sub-Saharan Africa and beyond — the business has earned a loyal following among discerning travellers and specialist trade partners worldwide. This is a role for someone who shares that ethos and wants to champion it in the marketplace. Working remotely from either South Africa or a southern African hub, and reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will own and grow a defined international market — either North America or Europe. The core focus is building and deepening B2B relationships with agents, tour operators and safari specialists, driving bookings, introducing new trade partners to the brand, and hosting educationals, trade fair appearances and client presentations. Extensive regional and international travel is an integral part of the role. ???????????? · A genuine, lived passion for African ecotourism, wildlife conservation and community engagement — this is a non-negotiable for our client. · Eight to ten years of experience within the African safari or ecotourism industry, including at least four to five years in B2B trade sales; field or lodge experience is a strong advantage. · An established and active trade network in either North America (USA and Canada) or Europe — with relationships across agents, tour operators and safari specialists. · A demonstrable track record of growing trade bookings, securing new agent accounts and sustaining long-term commercial relationships. · Confident and polished in client-facing settings — educationals, trade fairs, webinars and in-person presentations. · Strong financial acumen and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; CRM familiarity advantageous. · Excellent communicator with outstanding relationship-building ability and broad knowledge of pan-African biodiversity and the ecotourism landscape. · Willingness and ability to travel extensively for trade events, market visits and client engagements; a valid driver's licence and own vehicle are required. · Contactable trade and industry references essential. ?????? – On application ?????????? – Full time / Remote ? ?????? ???? – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
