? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a well-established fine dining restaurant in Finnish Lapland, for an ambitious and talented ???? ????. Our client has been operating for many years and has built an outstanding reputation over more than three decades. Situated in Saariselkä, Europe's northernmost skiing village and within the Arctic Circle, the restaurant seats 80 guests and serves fine, modern Lappish cuisine. Holding a Chaîne des Rôtisseurs accreditation and running the kitchen to Michelin-star standards, The restaurant operates a dinner service five days a week from September to April, serving a discerning clientele of VIPs, prominent Finnish companies, and wealthy international travellers. This is not a conventional kitchen position. The successful candidate will be working in one of the world's most extraordinary environments, where polar nights, the Northern Lights, and temperatures below -27°C are part of daily life. The kitchen is small, senior, and serious. A tight team where everyone pulls their weight, from the pass to the scullery to shovelling snow. The role works closely with the front-of-house team, the sommelier, and the owners. ??? ???????????????? Cooking and preparing food to the restaurant's fine dining standards. Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and professional service. Stock management and daily preparations. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of fridges, freezers, and dry storage. Familiarising with Finnish food terminology and Lappish ingredients. Contributing to all aspects of restaurant operations, including general cleaning, scullery duties, and snow removal. ???????????? Solid fine dining or high-end restaurant experience. Ability to remain composed, professional, and fast under pressure. Genuine interest in wine and fine food. Ability to adapt quickly to a new environment and cooking style. Emotionally mature, hardworking, and career driven. An adventurous spirit; this role is based in a remote Arctic location. European work experience advantageous; EU passport a plus. Non-smoker. Valid driver's licence advantageous. Computer literate. ?????? - €2 300 per month, plus approximately €150 per month in shared tips. Furnished accommodation available to rent nearby at approximately €500 per month, heating and electricity included. ?????????? - Seasonal contract, September to April.
