Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Reservations Agent for a luxury private game reserve. This remote-based role is ideal for an organised individual with a passion for high-end travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage reservations with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all reservation enquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms with professionalism and warmth
  
• Manage reservations from initial enquiry through to confirmation, ensuring accurate system input
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and direct guests
  
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  
• Upsell lodge experiences, private safaris, and additional services to maximise revenue
  
• Stay up to date with packages, operational updates, and conservation initiatives
  
• Manage booking amendments, cancellations, and special requests efficiently
  
• Ensure deposits, invoicing, and payment follow-ups are aligned with company policies
  
• Assist with reporting, audits, and database management
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a reservations role within luxury hospitality or the safari industry
  
• Proficiency in reservations systems such as ResRequest, PANStrat, Opera, or similar
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages advantageous)
  
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
  
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
  
• Passion for African travel, conservation, and exceptional guest service
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  
• Understanding of the travel trade and global tourism market is advantageous
