Relief Operations Manager - Luxury Lodge Group - Limpopo / Kruger National Park (Field-Based) ? Urgent Vacancy Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a seasoned, hands-on Relief Operations Manager for a well-established luxury lodge and hospitality group, operating across properties the Waterberg and the Kruger National Park area. This is a field-based, travel-intensive role. You will be the operational link between Head Office and the lodges - providing on-site support, driving standards and developing teams across multiple properties. If you thrive on variety, take genuine ownership of operational excellence and are comfortable spending extended periods on-site across different properties, this is worth your attention. Own reliable vehicle is an absolute non-negotiable requirement. Travel expenses are reimbursed. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5 years' hospitality operations management experience - essential Multi-department experience across a luxury lodge, hotel or resort environment Strong understanding of luxury lodge operational standards and service delivery Proven leadership, coaching and mentorship skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Proficient in MS Office and operational reporting Valid South African driver's license and own reliable vehicle - essential Willing and able to travel extensively and live on-site at various lodge properties Stable work history with contactable references Key Responsibilities: ? Operational Support Provide hands-on operational support to Resident Managers, HODs and lodge teams on-site Support lodges during peak periods, staff shortages, property openings and special events Assist with implementation of new operational initiatives and projects ⭐ Standards & Guest Experience Observe and assess guest interactions and service delivery across all departments Ensure service standards consistently align with luxury hospitality expectations Monitor F&B service, housekeeping standards, room readiness and property presentation Coach and develop lodge teams to enhance guest experiences ? Facilities & Compliance Identify maintenance issues and ensure they are reported and followed up timeously Monitor preventative maintenance standards and overall property upkeep Ensure all properties adhere to health, safety, hygiene and company policies ? Reporting & Communication Submit detailed audit reports and lodge assessments after each site visit Provide constructive, actionable feedback to management teams Track progress against operational action plans Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager on lodge performance Package: Salary: R30,000 - R35,000 CTC, including benefits.
