This is a rare opportunity for a highly experienced culinary professional to lead, train, and elevate food standards across multiple luxury lodges in East Africa. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving culinary excellence, mentoring kitchen teams, and ensuring consistent world-class dining experiences across all properties. ✨ Key Responsibilities: ✔ Revise and standardise 7-day menus across East African lodges, including lodge meals, bush picnics, snacks, and dietary menus in line with styling guidelines ✔ Deliver creative bush banqueting training and implementation of Food Styling Guides ✔ Ensure consistent presentation standards across all meals and properties ✔ Stay current with global food trends and innovation in luxury hospitality cuisine ✔ Develop and implement new menus, recipes, and guest dining concepts ✔ Train chefs on special dietary requirements, costing, and recipe selection ✔ Design and deliver culinary training focused on guest delight and food storytelling ✔ Implement and monitor kitchen standards across multiple lodges ✔ Maintain strong communication with chefs, managers, suppliers, and leadership teams ✔ Promote discipline, professionalism, and team development across all kitchens ✔ Conduct lodge rotations to upgrade food quality, presentation, and consistency ✔ Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing and supplier development ✔ Oversee food and beverage elements including beverages, game drives, and guest amenities ✔ Contribute to budgets, project planning, and overall culinary strategy ✔ Host annual workshops and support ongoing academy training initiatives ? Requirements: ✔ Minimum 10 years’ experience in luxury hospitality or high-end culinary environments ✔ Higher Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification ✔ Proven experience in training, mentoring, and developing culinary teams ✔ Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills ✔ Passion for innovation, guest experience, and culinary excellence ✔ High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail ✔ Ability to work across multiple locations and manage diverse teams ?
