Receptionist / Relief Night Auditor | Luxury Hotel | Cape Town

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and adaptable Receptionist / Relief Night Auditor for a luxury hotel based in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a guest-focused hospitality professional with strong front office and night audit experience to join a high-end operation offering exceptional guest service standards around the clock.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering seamless front desk service during daytime operations while also performing night audit duties, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuity in all guest and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests and managing check-in and check-out procedures
  
• Handling reservations, cancellations, and general guest enquiries efficiently
  
• Providing professional, friendly, and attentive guest service at all times
  
• Performing night audit functions including account reconciliation, billing, and reporting
  
• Ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and daily reporting processes
  
• Managing and resolving guest complaints in a professional and timely manner
  
• Maintaining accurate guest records and operational documentation
  
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
  
• Upholding luxury service standards and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
  
• Supporting operational continuity across day and night shifts
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a front desk and/or night audit role within a luxury hotel environment
  
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  
• Professional, guest-focused, and well-presented approach
  
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
  
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
