Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Property Reservations Executive for a luxury private game reserve based in Sabi Sands. This is an exciting opportunity for a polished and service-driven reservations professional with prior safari lodge experience and a genuine appreciation for bush life.

Key Responsibilities
• Making reservations in accordance with company standards
• Providing accurate information regarding room types, availability, packages and special offers
• Checking availability for requested travel dates
• Ensuring all reservations meet minimum standards for confirmation and follow-up
• Following up on provisional bookings
• Issuing invoices, processing payments and sending confirmations
• Booking flights and road transfers as required
• Resolving any reservation-related issues efficiently
• Assisting guests with amendments or cancellations
• Liaising with lodge operations to manage booking changes, delays or overbookings
• Ensuring all guest requests, including excursions and treatments, are accurately captured and actioned
• Addressing guest feedback, concerns and special requests to ensure satisfaction
• Updating and maintaining the client database
• Creating and updating profiles for VIP and repeat guests
• Maintaining excellent rapport with guests and greeting them on arrival
• Hosting trade site visits and special function stays
Package and Benefits
• Basic monthly salary (to be discussed at interview stage)
• Live-in basic furnished accommodation (possible sharing)
• R2,514 food allowance at Stores over and above salary
• Uniform allowance (upon re-opening of the lodge in 2027)
• Medical Aid – 50% company contribution (after successful 3-month probation)
• Pension Fund – 50% company contribution (after successful 3-month probation)
• Share of guest gratuities (upon re-opening of the lodge in 2027)
• 1% company revenue gratuity (upon re-opening of the lodge in 2027)
• 20 bed nights annually for family and friends at R750 per person per night (upon re-opening of the lodge in 2027)
• Two complimentary Virgin Active memberships (after successful 3-month probation)
• Leave cycle: 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off
