Job Summary
Location: Cape Town
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to shape the technology supporting a leading retailer’s on-demand delivery service.
You will translate customer and operational needs into practical digital solutions, improving the delivery experience through close collaboration with business stakeholders, designers and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities

Own and prioritise the product backlog, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Lead requirements workshops, feature design and wireframe development.

Define requirements for backend business logic, data flows and system integrations.

Guide Agile teams through planning, development, demonstrations and releases.

Coordinate user acceptance testing and business sign-off.

Use analytics and user feedback to improve customer experience and service levels.

Support and mentor other Product Owners.
Requirements

Relevant degree in Business, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.

Product Owner or SAFe Product Owner certification.
-
At least six years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Product Owner.

Demonstrated last-mile delivery and logistics technology experience.

Experience designing and implementing complex delivery networks.

Ecommerce and retail experience.

Strong technical understanding, analytical skills and commercial judgement.

Ability to manage multidisciplinary stakeholders and work through ambiguity.
An industrial engineering background and ecommerce logistics operations experience would be advantageous.
