HEAD OF VISUAL MERCHANDISING

Salary R64 000 P/M Neg DOE, CTC, plus a travel allowance, petrol card, company benefits, etc

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the national Visual Merchandising strategy aligned with brand and business objectives.

• Lead and inspire the Visual Merchandising team, driving creativity, innovation and high performance.

• Create and execute seasonal campaigns, window displays and in-store merchandising concepts across all showrooms.

• Ensure consistent brand presentation and visual standards across the retail network.

• Partner with Buying, Planning, Marketing, Retail Operations and Store Design teams to deliver impactful customer experiences.

• Analyse sales and customer insights to optimise product placement and merchandising effectiveness.

• Manage Visual Merchandising budgets, projects, suppliers and national roll-outs.

• Conduct store visits and audits to maintain standards and support retail teams.

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate.

• Relevant diploma or degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail Design, Retail Management or a related field.

• Minimum 5-8 years' visual merchandising experience within a multi-store retail environment.

• At least 5 years' experience leading and developing visual merchandising teams.

• Experience developing and implementing national merchandising strategies and seasonal campaigns.

• Premium retail brand experience is essential.

• Experience within the décor, homeware, furniture or lifestyle industry will be advantageous.

• Strong commercial, project management and stakeholder management skills.

• Passion for décor, design and emerging retail trends.
