Job Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Pastry Chef job at Coastal Hotel, Wild Coast or similar role Formal culinary or pastry qualification from a recognised institution Strong creativity and passion for baking, desserts, and artisanal breads Ability to produce a wide range of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods Knowledge of dietary requirements (gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free, etc.) Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills Ability to manage stock, ingredients, and kitchen hygiene standards Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure Responsibilities Prepare a wide variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, biscuits, and artisanal breads Develop new dessert ideas and contribute creatively to menu planning Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all baked goods Monitor and manage stock levels of baking ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team Package Salary: R12 000 per month Full board (accommodation and meals provided) Opportunity to work in a scenic coastal environment Growth potential within a reputable hospitality establishment Start Date: As soon as possible
