Duties include:
Ensure CNC machine uptime, limiting downtime to a maximum of 2% of available production hours
Plan and manage preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
Lead fault finding and troubleshooting on CNC HELLER machinery
Manage a maintenance budget exceeding R2 million annually
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including environmental regulations
Follow company policies such as the code of conduct, Mibco provisions, and other HR policies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proven experience in budget management
Proficiency in CNC programming and fault finding
Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and environmental compliance
Qualified Millwright (Artisan)
Qualification in CNC Programming with a recognized service provider
Experience in maintenance planning and budgeting, minimum of 5 years
Familiarity with the following:
CNC machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
Continuous improvement methodologies
