ROLE OVERVIEW
The Pastry Chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting all pastry, dessert, and baked items, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to the lodge’s culinary standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
• Maintain presentation, quality, and freshness of all products
• Follow recipes, portion control, and food safety standards
• Innovate and develop seasonal menus and specials
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and equipment in top condition
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service
• Manage inventory and stock control for pastry and baking supplies
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury or high-end hospitality environment
• Strong technical skills in pastry and baking
• Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
