This exclusive property offers immersive, high-end experiences in a spectacular and pristine setting, and is part of a well-regarded collection known for responsible, remote luxury tourism across Africa and the Indian Ocean. The Operations Manager will oversee the overall standards of the guest experience, coordinating the day-to-day operational functions across all departments and working closely with the General Manager to ensure systems, people and logistics operate seamlessly. This is a hands-on, service-oriented leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic, remote environments and brings a genuine passion for operational excellence in luxury lodge hospitality. Hotel experience alone is not sufficient for this role. ??? ???????????????? Develop and maintain service standards across all guest-facing departments, continuously improving the guest experience in line with the property's luxury positioning. Lead and coordinate daily operational activities across Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa, Activities and Food & Beverage, implementing and upholding SOPs. Ensure the end-to-end guest experience is delivered with personalisation, attention to detail and warmth, responding swiftly and professionally to any guest feedback. Support the General Manager in building a high-performing, values-driven team through training, coaching and cross-departmental collaboration. Oversee procurement, delivery and inventory management of all operational supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for a remote island operation. Ensure all departments adhere to health, safety, hygiene and fire safety protocols, and lead incident reporting in line with company procedures. ???????????? Minimum 5-7 years in operations roles within luxury hospitality, with experience as an Operations Manager in a comparable remote luxury lodge or island property essential. Hotel experience alone will not be considered; remote lodge, camp or island hospitality experience is required. Strong operational planning and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across diverse, multicultural teams. High level of attention to detail, with a strong focus on consistency, quality and guest satisfaction. Fluency in English essential; French language skills a strong advantage.
