North America Retail Sales Manager Employment: Permanent Job Level: Middle Management Work Structure: Remote (San Diego / Colorado / East Coast) Start Date: As soon as possible Role Overview A leading luxury travel brand is seeking an experienced North America Retail Sales Manager to drive growth across the U.S. and Canadian retail travel market. This strategic, externally focused sales role requires a well‑connected professional with an established network in the luxury travel advisor community and proven success working with major consortia and host agency partners. The successful candidate will expand the brand’s presence across North America by developing advisor relationships, identifying new business opportunities, driving sales performance, and representing the brand at industry events. Key Responsibilities Grow and manage relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia, host agencies, and strategic retail partners. Drive sales growth within the North American retail travel channel. Identify; pursue, and secure new business opportunities. Deliver product training, webinars, and sales presentations to travel advisors. Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, roadshows, and partner meetings. Collaborate closely with marketing, reservations, and international sales teams. Provide market intelligence and insights on advisor trends, consortia performance, and industry developments. Ideal Candidate Profile Minimum 3+ years’ experience in luxury travel sales, safari sales, luxury hospitality, tour operations, DMC, expedition, or experiential travel. Existing relationships with travel advisors across the U.S. luxury travel market. Demonstrated experience working with leading consortia such as Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, Ensemble, Traveller Made, or similar luxury travel networks. Strong understanding of: Travel advisor distribution channels Consortia structures Host agency models Luxury retail travel dynamics Proven success in revenue growth through strategic relationship management and consultative selling. Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred Experience African destination or safari product knowledge. Experience selling Africa. Non‑Negotiable Requirements Candidates must: Reside in North America. Be legally authorised to work in North America. Require no visa sponsorship, work permit support, or immigration assistance now or in the future. Have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in luxury travel sales, hospitality, safari, expedition, or a related travel sector. Possess established relationships within the North American luxury travel advisor community. Demonstrate direct experience working with major luxury travel consortia (Virtuoso, Signature, Ensemble, etc.). Have a strong understanding of retail travel distribution channels, advisor networks, host agencies, and consortia dynamics. Be willing and able to travel extensively across North America and internationally, often at short notice. Be comfortable working remotely and independently while collaborating across global teams.
