Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills, industry-recognized certifications, and the flexibility to work in both onsite and remote environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN network infrastructures
Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis
Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance standards
Collaborate with IT teams supporting cloud, data center, and enterprise networks
Prepare network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
Provide support during deployments, upgrades, and migrations
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or administration
Strong knowledge of routing and switching (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security concepts
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking technologies
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues efficiently
Certifications (Mandatory)
CCIE or CCNP (or equivalent network certifications)
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Exposure to SD-WAN, network automation, or monitoring tools
Experience working with geographically distributed teams
Work Mode
Onsite: Africa-based locations
Remote: Available for eligible candidates depending on project needs
