Marketing & Sales Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge Collection | Remote (Johannesburg or Cape Town) About the Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Marketing & Sales Manager for a collection of luxury safari lodges. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and results-driven marketing professional to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, increase direct bookings and drive occupancy across multiple luxury safari properties. Working remotely, the successful candidate will play a key role in growing the brand while collaborating closely with reservations, operations and industry partners. Key Requirements • Relevant qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related field • Proven track record of increasing accommodation occupancy and driving measurable sales growth • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, content creation, email marketing and online advertising • Experience with website content management systems and SEO best practices • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance and market trends • Experience with graphic design and video editing software advantageous • Candidate must be based in Johannesburg or Cape Town Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads and improve occupancy • Plan, execute and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital platforms • Manage all social media platforms, ensuring engaging and consistent brand content • Create compelling content for social media, blogs, email campaigns and promotional material • Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics and prepare detailed marketing reports with actionable recommendations • Conduct market research to identify tourism trends, competitor activity and customer insights • Manage email marketing campaigns and digital advertising to maximise return on investment • Work closely with the reservations team to promote seasonal campaigns, packages and special offers • Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, influencers and media partners • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital and print marketing channels Candidate Profile • A passion for luxury hospitality and destination marketing • A creative mindset combined with strong commercial awareness • Excellent organisational and project management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills • The ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines • A proactive, innovative and results-driven approach to marketing and sales • A professional attitude with exceptional attention to detail Package • Salary: R40,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience • Fully Remote position • Candidate to be based in Johannesburg or Cape Town • Opportunity to join a leading luxury safari lodge group • Excellent long-term career growth opportunities Please note that only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.
