Marketing manager – luxury safari travel company

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to join a leading luxury safari travel company on a remote basis in South Africa.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded marketing professional with a passion for luxury travel, who is looking to play a key role in developing and executing impactful marketing strategies within the high-end safari and travel sector.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s overall marketing strategy.
  
• The role will involve managing and strengthening the brand across relevant marketing channels.
  
• The successful candidate will oversee marketing campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, engagement and commercial performance.
  
• The position will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent and compelling brand communication.
  
• The role will require a strong understanding of luxury travel marketing and the ability to communicate the unique appeal of high-end safari experiences.
  
• The successful candidate will be expected to identify new marketing opportunities, monitor performance and use insights to continually improve campaigns.
  
• Digital marketing, content, social media and brand development will form an important part of the role.
  

Candidate requirements

• Previous experience in a Marketing Manager or similar senior marketing position.
  
• Experience within the luxury travel, hospitality, safari or tourism sector would be highly advantageous.
  
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content marketing and brand management.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• A creative approach combined with strong commercial awareness.
  
• Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
  
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a remote working environment.
  
• A genuine passion for luxury travel, safari and exceptional guest experiences.
  
• A strong understanding of the international luxury travel market would be advantageous.
