Salary: Negotiable (Executive Level) Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Managing Director for a senior leadership role within a luxury hospitality business based in Botswana. This is a rare opportunity for a proven executive leader to take full ownership of a complex, multi-site operation within a remote and purpose-led environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving overall business performance, strategic execution, and operational excellence while leading high-performing teams and ensuring a strong balance between commercial success, people leadership, and sustainable hospitality practices. Requirements: ✔ Proven experience in a Managing Director or equivalent senior executive role with full P&L responsibility ✔ Strong commercial, financial, and strategic leadership capability ✔ Experience leading multi-site or complex operational businesses (hospitality, tourism, or service-led industries) ✔ Track record of delivering business growth and operational excellence ✔ Experience operating in emerging or remote markets advantageous ✔ Strong leadership presence with ability to inspire senior teams ✔ High emotional intelligence, integrity, and sound decision-making ability ✔ Strong problem-solving and pragmatic, solutions-driven mindset ✔ Ability to thrive in remote and operationally complex environments ✔ Strong alignment with sustainable and purpose-driven business principles Key Responsibilities: • Full accountability for business performance including P&L ownership • Lead strategic direction and execution across multiple operational sites • Drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational efficiency • Oversee all hospitality operations ensuring exceptional service standards • Lead, develop, and inspire senior leadership teams • Align commercial performance with guest experience and brand integrity • Manage complex operational challenges in remote environments • Embed a values-led leadership culture across the organisation • Strengthen stakeholder relationships across all partners • Ensure governance, compliance, and operational discipline • Drive long-term planning, innovation, and continuous improvement • Balance financial performance with sustainability and people outcomes Package: • Medical aid participation required • Provident fund participation required • 24 working days annual leave plus additional time off in lieu of Sundays and public holidays worked (up to 84 days total entitlement annually) • Work permit approval required prior to commencement • Self-relocation to Maun, Botswana Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
