Luxury Hospitality Group with offices based in Dar es Salaam and Arusha is looking for a Logistics Manager. As the Logistics Manager you will oversee the entire supply chain ; directing the storage; transportation and distribution of goods to ensure efficiency; cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Key duties include optimizing warehouse operations ; management of carriers ; managing inventory levels and implementing logistics software to streamline workflows. Duties: Logistics Operations: Plan, manage, and monitor the movement of inbound and outbound raw materials and finished goods. Vendor & Carrier Management: Negotiate contracts, rates, and routes with suppliers and shipping carriers to minimize costs. Inventory & Warehouse Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, optimize warehouse layouts, and oversee, picking, packing, and shipping procedures. Data Analysis & Improvement: Analyse performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve supply chain efficiency. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all transportation and storage activities comply with legal regulations, safety standards, and ISO requirements. Team Leadership: Supervise logistics staff, establishing performance goals and providing training. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or Logistics. 5+ years of proven experience with refrigerated supply chains and 4x4 fleet management Route optimization for remote delivery and fuel management skills Proficiency in logistics software (TMS/WMS), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office. Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
