Lodge Manager – New Luxury Lodge (Boutique) – Greater Kruger, Hoedspruit ➡️ Live-in Role | Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 DOE | Meals included Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting a strong, hands-on Lodge Manager for a newly opening 7-room luxury lodge in Greater Kruger (Hoedspruit). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new opening environment, requiring an experienced hospitality leader who can set standards, build a strong team culture, and deliver consistently high guest experiences. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the full day-to-day lodge operation across all departments • Lead, train, and motivate teams to deliver luxury service standards • Ensure excellent guest relations, hosting, and service recovery at all times • Maintain high presentation standards across rooms, public areas, and back-of-house • Oversee stock control, ordering, budgeting basics, and operational cost awareness • Implement and maintain SOPs, checklists, and opening processes • Coordinate reservations / guest communications, daily schedules, and activity flow • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and lodge procedures • Support the owners/management team with reporting and operational planning Requirements • Proven 5* Lodge Manager or senior lodge management experience essential • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational ability • Hands-on, solutions-driven, and calm under pressure • Confident across FOH, housekeeping, F&B, admin, and general operations • Strong attention to detail and pride in standards • Willing to work in a live-in, remote bush environment Package • Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 per month (depending on experience) • Live-in accommodation provided • Three meals per day included To Apply Please submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head and shoulders photograph ASAP. ?
