? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a well-established wilderness lodge in the Cederberg, Western Cape, for an experienced and hands-on ????? ??????? Nestled within a UNESCO World Heritage wilderness area in the Cederberg, our client operates a distinctive lodge property that brings together accommodation, a working on-site restaurant and an active olive farm. It is a place built on a love of wild spaces, authentic hospitality and a genuine conservation ethic – and they need a manager who shares that outlook and is prepared to lead from the front in a remote setting. Reporting to Head Office, the Lodge Manager will carry full accountability for the day-to-day running of the property. This covers overseeing accommodation, restaurant service and the entire guest journey from arrival to departure, leading and developing teams across all departments, and managing stock, budgets, vehicles and supplier relationships. The role also involves coordinating maintenance, schedules and operational logistics, and liaising with the on-site farm manager. Financial management, property upkeep and the ability to stay calm during environmental or operational challenges are all part of the brief. Requirements • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience across multiple departments • Culinary knowledge is essential • Financially literate – comfortable with budgets, stock control and supplier management • Hands-on, adaptable and operationally strong • Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational abilities • Self-driven and solution-oriented, with a high attention to detail • Comfortable living and working in a remote wilderness environment • A genuine commitment to exceptional guest experiences • Contactable references essential Salary – R45K live in depending on experience Employment – Permanent, live-in position with meals included. Work cycle: 3 weeks on / 1 week off.
