⚓ **LODGE ANCHOR** | **LUXURY SAFARI LODGE** ? **SABI SAND** An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic, versatile Lodge Anchor to join a premier luxury safari lodge in Sabi Sand. ? **Location:** Sabi Sand, South Africa ? **Salary:** Competitive, depending on experience ? **Employment:** Full-time ? **Working hours:** Lodge operational hours / Shift-based **THE ROLE** This is a high-touch guest services leadership position focused on delivering international standard hosting, managing food and beverage operations, and providing seamless lodge management coverage. You will be responsible for: • Hosting international guests and ensuring their stay meets every expectation with high personal attention • Acting as Guest Services Manager and creating warm, innovative guest experiences • Overseeing restaurant and bar stock control • Supervising, managing, and training front-of-house and restaurant staff • Filling in for the Assistant Lodge Manager during cycle leave and executing associated management duties • Ensuring high standards of time management and operational organization across departments • Supporting eco-friendly lodge practices, environmental sustainability, and conservation values **IDEAL CANDIDATE** ✔ Strong Food & Beverage or Guest Services background essential (both is highly ideal) ✔ Sound, specialized knowledge of food and beverage, with emphasis on wine, cigars, and cheese ✔ Friendly, welcoming personality balanced with a strong, confident character ✔ Exceptional skills in hosting high-net-worth international guests ✔ Highly organized with outstanding time management and strong attention to detail ✔ Genuine passion for the natural environment and sustainable hospitality ✔ Physically fit, active, and adaptable to lodge life requirements ✔ South African citizenship preferred, or valid SA work permit (essential) ? **REQUIREMENTS:** Candidates must be adaptable multi-taskers, comfortable stepping into management leave cycles, and committed to luxury service standards.
