Touring Financial Accountant | Luxury Travel Company | Sandton Salary: R35;000 Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Touring Financial Accountant to join a luxury travel company based in Sandton. This role requires a highly organised finance professional with strong analytical skills, capable of managing complex financial operations, reconciliations, and reporting within a fast-paced travel environment. Key Responsibilities: Daily Responsibilities Liaise with suppliers, reservations managers, and relevant internal teams to resolve queries Review and release payments on banking platforms Manage and process club transactions and provide financial support to relationship managers and reservations teams Act as finance liaison for Sales, DMC, Commercial, and Finance teams Ensure compliance with company policies, including AML and FICA Check and approve refunds and commissions according to internal policies Continuously review and maintain internal controls Weekly Responsibilities Perform adhoc functions to ensure efficiency of the Touring Team Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Process and reconcile credit card transactions Follow up on membership or client account shortfalls Monthly Responsibilities Close financial periods in Tourplan according to deadlines Revalue and review bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts Process stock movements and investigate write-offs Prepare VAT calculations, submissions, and resolve queries Prepare management accounts, forecasts, and budgets Participate in audits and internal reviews Support the Debtors’ team with risk review and reporting Manage revenue and cost of sales for ground handling and other operational areas Oversee credit card transactions, expense authorisations, and provisions Key Competencies & Skills Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with internal and external stakeholders Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with high attention to detail Ability to manage complex reconciliations and ensure accuracy Resilient; able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements Requirements Relevant accounting qualification, diploma, or degree 3–5 years’ experience in a financial/accounting role, ideally within travel or luxury hospitality Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with Tourplan or similar systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV
