The position is focused on consistent execution over creative design and would suit someone who enjoys structure, order, and teamwork. Working under the direction of the Resident Chef, the Junior Sous Chef will assist in preparing daily meals for guests, owners, and staff. This role includes hands-on support across all kitchen operations, maintaining high hygiene standards and contributing to a cohesive team environment. ???????????? Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a CDP, Junior Sous Chef, or similar role Broad international culinary skillset, with ability to deliver diverse cuisines to a high standard Reliable; well-organised, and emotionally mature Comfortable with routine, structure, and a remote lifestyle Professional and respectful communicator with a positive work ethic Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and remote provisioning. Able to thrive in isolated, close-knit team environments with minimal external social stimulation. Previous remote, yacht, or island-based experience highly advantageous. ??? ???????????????? Assist the Resident Chef with daily food prep and service Execute established menus and recipes with care and consistency Support guest dining, villa service, and staff meal preparation Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation Participate in prep planning, inventory, and proper food rotation Uphold a calm, respectful, and team-focused atmosphere Step into broader responsibilities as directed during peak periods Contribute to deep cleaning, system refinement, and skill development during quiet periods ????????? ???????????
