Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable and hands-on Depot Operations (Code 10 Driver) to support daily depot activities, including deliveries, collections, and administrative duties in George.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDP
- Must reside in George and have good knowledge of the area
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Email)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
- Able to perform physical work and hands-on tasks
- Bilingual – English and Afrikaans (preferred)
- Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily deliveries and collections efficiently
- Assist with general depot operations and maintenance
- Perform administrative duties (data capturing, emails, reporting)
- Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation
- Support stock handling and movement within the depot
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the depot
- Assist with loading and offloading of goods
- Operate forklift when required (if licensed)
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 17:00
Remuneration:
- Approx. R20,000 CTC per month (including provident fund contribution)
