Job Summary
A South African financial services group that provides insurance, investment, legal support, and lifestyle reward products are seeking a Junior Test Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the delivery of solutions, frameworks, and processes using sound technical capabilities to play an active role in testing and delivering cost-effective development solutions, whilst staying abreast of external developments to improve internal solutions.
Responsibilities:
Create test cases and test plans according to user requirements.
Perform functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on all applications.
Identify, analyze, and document all programming errors.
Verify fixes.
Communicate project test results.
Train users for UAT and obtain UAT sign-off on deliverables.
Provide training manuals where necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience.
Manual testing experience.
SQL experience.
Web API experience.
Knowledge of JSON files.
SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) knowledge.
Boundary analysis knowledge.
ISTQB or related qualification in test analysis.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
High attention to detail and a persistent personality.
Experience in test automation practices and the use of test automation tools.
