Job Summary
A Dental Practice in Vanderbijlpark is seeking a professional, patient-focused, and experienced Locum (short-term) Dentist to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Dentist who is available to start on or around 3 August and is looking for a flexible locum opportunity. The practice is ideally looking for someone who can work Monday to Friday, but will also consider candidates who are available for at least 3 days per week.
The locum assignment is expected to run for a few months, making it an ideal opportunity for a Dentist seeking short-term work within a supportive and professional practice.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Dentistry (BChD) or equivalent qualification.
Current registration with the HPCSA as an Independent Dental Practitioner.
Previous experience in private practice will be advantageous.
Excellent clinical and communication skills.
Professional, compassionate, and patient-centred approach.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the practice team.
Reliable and available to commit to the agreed locum schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of general dental conditions.
Perform routine restorative and preventative dental procedures.
Develop and discuss treatment plans with patients.
Maintain accurate clinical records.
Deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to all clinical and infection control standards.
Work collaboratively with the practice team to ensure a positive patient experience.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 16:00
The practice would ideally like full-week availability but is also open to candidates who are available for a minimum of 3 days per week.
Remuneration: To be discussed during the interview.
