Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and professional Head Homekeeper to join their team in the Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee outsourced laundry processes and ensure quality guest and lodge laundry service
- Train, develop, and performance manage staff to maintain productivity and morale
- Monitor maintenance issues, create snag lists, and uphold style and design standards
- Manage housekeeping stock, consumables, and lodge uniforms within budget limitations
- Conduct daily room checks to ensure guest suite readiness
- Maintain accurate records, monthly stock takes, and departmental reporting
- Recruit, induct, and manage probationary check-ins for new staff
- Discipline staff in line with company Code of Conduct
- Control and compile housekeeping budgets accurately
- Develop and maintain effective systems, SOPs, and training materials
- Attend daily lodge meetings to align operations and special requests
- Contribute to sustainable lodge operations aligned with conservation principles
Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of world-class housekeeping standards and procedures
- Strong command of English (reading, writing, and communication)
- Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail
- Agility and stamina for physically demanding work
- Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong administration ability (procurement and stock control)
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a similar establishment
- Ability to interpret and manage finances
- South African nationality or valid work visa
