This role is ideal for a Head Chef who is passionate about fine dining, seasonal menu development, and wine pairing. The successful candidate will maintain exceptional culinary standards while ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and a consistently outstanding guest experience. Job Requirements & Responsibilities • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-end or fine dining Restaurant • Strong Leadership and team management skills within a hospitality kitchen • Ability to design and execute seasonal, wine-paired menus suited to a Wine Estate environment • Excellent food cost control, budgeting, and stock management experience • Strong administrative and organisational skills • High standards of food presentation, hygiene, and kitchen organisation • Availability to start immediately • Own reliable transport (essential) Key Responsibilities • Oversee full kitchen operations, ensuring smooth daily service • Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen brigade • Create and cost seasonal menus aligned with the Wine Estate brand • Maintain strict stock control and manage supplier relationships • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation consistency • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations • Manage kitchen budgets and drive profitability • Collaborate with management to enhance the overall Restaurant guest experience Package • R20 000 – R25 000 per month (dependent on experience) • Live Out position Start Date: Immediate
