??? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with an ultra-luxury safari lodge located in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, to identify a talented and passionate ???? ???? to lead the culinary offering within this exceptional remote wilderness environment. This position calls for a creative culinary professional who is able to deliver a refined and memorable dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and kitchen management. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the kitchen operation, ensuring that all culinary experiences align with the lodge’s luxury positioning while supporting the wider guest experience and operational standards of the property. Operating within an extremely remote safari environment, the Head Chef will need to combine strong culinary creativity with excellent organisation, cost control and team leadership. The role requires an individual who thrives in a wilderness setting, enjoys engaging with guests, and is committed to mentoring and developing kitchen teams while maintaining consistently high standards across all culinary outputs. PLEASE NOTE - Candidates are required to submit a portfolio of their work showcasing culinary style, plating, menu concepts and overall food presentation. Images will be checked for ownership Requirements · A recognised 3-year chef qualification or equivalent formal culinary training (Non-negotiable) · Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a senior chef or Head Chef level role, within luxury hospitality or remote lodge environments. · Strong menu design and food concept development skills with a broad understanding of international cuisine and dietary requirements. · Solid understanding of food costing, kitchen budgets and stock management. · Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop kitchen teams while maintaining strong operational discipline. · Excellent understanding of kitchen procedures, timing, hygiene standards and food safety protocols. · Strong organisation, planning and time management skills within a busy kitchen environment. · Ability to maintain high quality standards of food preparation and presentation in line with luxury guest expectations. · Confident guest engagement skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests when required. · Physically fit with the stamina required for a demanding kitchen environment in a remote location. · Positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine passion for hospitality and culinary excellence. · Comfortable living and working in an extremely remote wilderness location for extended periods.
