? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned, luxury safari lodge operator, situated in one of Tanzania’s most exclusive and remote wilderness settings, for an experienced and passionate ????????? ???? As Executive Chef, you will hold full accountability for the quality and consistency of all food produced at the property - covering both guest dining and staff catering. You will design and implement seasonal menus that reflect the lodge’s culinary identity and the produce available, while ensuring all plating and presentation adheres to established brand styling guidelines. Guest interaction is equally important: you will greet arrivals, learn names & invite feedback. You will also liaise with the group’s food specialists to exchange ideas and continuously raise the standard of the culinary offering. The culinary programme is central to the guest journey, from celebrated bush breakfasts and interactive kitchen sessions to atmospheric boma dinners under the stars. Requirements • Formal culinary qualification from a recognised institution • Minimum two years’ kitchen management experience, preferably within a five-star or luxury lodge environment • Proven ability to perform consistently under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail • Strong guest-service orientation with a warm, approachable and positive demeanour • Demonstrated team leadership and staff development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse kitchen team • Competency in day-to-day and longer-term kitchen management, including administrative duties, scheduling and hygiene compliance • Sound knowledge of stock management, ordering procedures and stock rotation principles • Creative approach to seasonal, produce-driven menu development aligned with a distinct culinary identity • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues at all levels, heads of department, the lodge manager and external suppliers • Solid understanding of special dietary requirements for both guests and staff • Comfortable with a live-in, remote lodge lifestyle and the responsibilities and routines this entails ➡️ PLEASE NOTE: Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements listed above will be considered.
