Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair mobile cranes (30T+).
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
Complete job cards and electronic service records.
Maintain company tools and workshop equipment.
Work in the workshop and travel to customer sites when required.
Participate in standby duties, overtime and weekend work when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Diesel Mechanic, Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic or similar trade.
Minimum 10 years' experience working on mobile cranes (30-ton and above).
Experience working on lifting equipment or material handling machinery.
Strong hydraulic and auto-electrical fault-finding experience.
Experience working on heavy equipment ("yellow metal").
Computer literate.
Valid driver's licence.
Skills & Attributes
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail.
Physically fit with sober habits.
Willing to work overtime, weekends and standby when required.
