Group Retail Manager | Luxury Property Group | Kenya Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and commercially driven Group Retail Manager to join an established luxury property group. This is an exciting opportunity for a retail professional with a strong background in luxury retail, hospitality or tourism to take responsibility for the performance and development of retail operations across a portfolio of properties. Package Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Location: Kenya Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage retail operations across the group's properties. Develop and implement retail strategies aligned with the group's luxury positioning and commercial objectives. Drive sales performance, revenue growth and profitability across all retail outlets. Analyse sales results, trends and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth. Manage retail budgets, stock levels, purchasing and cost control. Monitor stock movement, conduct regular stock takes and minimise losses and wastage. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms where appropriate. Ensure retail outlets are consistently presented to the highest luxury standards. Curate product ranges that align with guest profiles, destination and property positioning. Identify new products, trends and retail opportunities to enhance the guest experience. Establish and monitor pricing strategies and margins. Develop and maintain effective retail procedures and controls. Recruit; train, mentor and manage retail teams across the group. Set clear performance standards and monitor individual and team performance. Work closely with operational, finance, marketing and management teams to maximise retail performance. Prepare regular retail reports and provide management with insights and recommendations. Ensure exceptional customer service and a premium guest shopping experience across all outlets. Requirements Previous experience in a senior retail management role, ideally within luxury retail, hospitality, tourism or a multi-site environment. Proven experience managing multiple retail outlets or locations. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Demonstrated ability to drive sales and profitability. Experience with stock management, purchasing, budgeting and cost control. Strong supplier negotiation and relationship-management skills. Experience managing, mentoring and developing teams. Excellent understanding of luxury customer service and retail standards. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office. A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between properties may be required. Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
