GENERAL MANAGER | Restaurant - Fourways, Johannesburg Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 per month An established and busy restaurant is looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the team, drive performance and ensure an exceptional guest experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO -Oversee daily FOH, kitchen, pizza and bar operationsLead, train, motivate and roster the team -Drive sales, profitability and operational performance -Manage food costs, stock, wastage and labour costs -Maintain high standards of food quality, service, hygiene and cleanliness -Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally -Manage cash controls, payroll submissions and reporting -Ensure compliance with operational, health & safety and company standards -Support promotions, marketing initiatives and restaurant growth WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR -5+ years’ restaurant management experience -Strong leadership and people-management skills -Good knowledge of food costs, stock control, budgets and POS -Excellent communication and organisational ability -A hands-on, energetic approach -Passionate about hospitality and confident managing a busy restaurant
