?? ??????????? ??????????? is recruiting on behalf of a well-established game lodge group in Malawi, for an experienced and complementary ??????? ?????????? ??????. Our client operates a portfolio of game lodge properties in Malawi and has built a strong reputation for authentic safari experiences, responsible tourism, and a deep commitment to their local communities and environment. This is a senior, dual leadership appointment for a couple with complementary skill sets – a strategic country-level operator paired with a strong lodge hospitality manager. Both roles are live-in and permanent, with a competitive USD package and accommodation on-site. Please note: the position is not suited to couples with children or pets. The ??????? ??????? will hold full accountability for the operational, financial, and statutory performance of the entire Malawi portfolio – working closely with the owners, and managing everything from HR and procurement through to government relations and crisis management. The ????? ??????? ??????? will focus on the seamless day-to-day running of the primary lodge – driving exceptional guest experiences, coordinating departments, maintaining service standards, and leading and developing a skilled lodge team. The two roles are designed to complement each other, and the owners are looking for a couple who will commit to the operation long-term. ???????????? ??????? ??????? Proven experience as a Country Manager, General Manager, or senior multi-property leader in hospitality, tourism, or lodge operations. Strong financial literacy – experienced in managing budgets, forecasting, cost control, and monthly reporting across multiple properties. Solid understanding of HR, statutory compliance, procurement, and supplier management. Ability to manage remote, diverse teams and to travel between properties as required. High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability – comfortable working closely with owners and reporting directly. Previous experience in Africa or remote lodge environments is advantageous. ????? ??????? ??????? Proven experience as a Lodge Manager, Assistant Lodge Manager, or in a comparable senior hospitality role within a luxury lodge environment. Strong guest relations skills with a warm, hands-on hosting approach and an eye for personalising guest experiences. Excellent people management and team leadership abilities – able to mentor, motivate, and maintain high morale across a diverse team. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with experience maintaining SOPs, stock control, and service standards. Able to work in a remote environment and adapt to the rhythms of bush living. ???? ???????? Experienced hospitality professionals with complementary strengths and a shared commitment to the role.
