Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
A growing company is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to manage customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders and follow-ups while supporting the external sales team and contributing to sales growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels.
Prepare and follow up on quotations.
Process customer orders accurately and timeously.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
Identify new sales opportunities and generate additional business.
Follow up on outstanding quotations, orders and backorders.
Provide customers with product information, pricing and availability.
Liaise with suppliers, warehouse and logistics to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.
Support external sales representatives with customer and sales administration.
Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
Update CRM and internal sales systems.
Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
Provide regular feedback on sales activities and opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 / Matric.
Previous internal sales, telesales, customer service or sales administration experience.
Experience in a technical, industrial, manufacturing or distribution environment will be advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good telephone and customer service skills.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
CRM or ERP system experience will be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, target-driven and proactive.
Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Provide regular feedback on sales activities and opportunities.
