This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand-new luxury property, leading the food and beverage operation and shaping its service culture from day one. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operation of all restaurants, bars, room service, banquets and events and any other food and beverage outlets, ensuring consistently exceptional and personalised service appropriate to a luxury resort environment. The role involves driving food and beverage revenue through effective menu engineering, upselling, promotions and outlet optimisation, while closely monitoring food and beverage costs, wastage, portion control, purchasing and stock levels. The successful candidate will prepare and manage the annual food and beverage budget, forecasts and monthly financial performance. The Food & Beverage Manager will recruit, train, coach and develop the food and beverage team, prepare manpower plans and ensure appropriate staffing levels according to business volumes. The role includes working closely with the Executive Chef and other stakeholders on menus, pricing, promotions and seasonal offerings, and collaborating with Rooms, Sales and Marketing, Finance and Human Resources to maximise the overall guest experience. The successful candidate will develop distinctive dining experiences such as private dining, destination dining, sundowners and special events, and will ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene and occupational health and safety requirements throughout the operation Requirements • As least 5 years in a Food & Beverage Manager position, within a luxury hotel or resort environment • A related Degree or Diploma essential • Pre-opening experience would be essential • Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train and develop a high performing team • Solid understanding of revenue management, cost control, budgeting and menu engineering • Excellent guest relations skills with a genuine passion for delivering personalised luxury service • Experience managing multiple outlets including restaurants, bars, room service and banquets and events • Strong financial and reporting skills • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health and safety compliance requirements • Willingness to relocate and take up this new opening position Salary – $2 500 to $3 000 net per month | Plus Benefits Start – November/December 2026 ➡️ PLEASE NOTE – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
