Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Digital Account Manager / Sales Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong, profitable relationships with clients and media agencies. You will have a solid understanding of the digital media landscape, a passion for innovation, and a proven ability to convert opportunities into revenue. You are a natural networker, confident presenter, and strategic thinker who brings both enthusiasm and expertise to every interaction.
What You Will Do:
Develop and manage profitable relationships with agencies, clients, and brands to drive new and repeat digital media revenue.
Achieve and exceed individual and portfolio sales targets across both programmatic and direct/customised digital campaigns.
Actively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong networks within South African media agencies and advertisers.
Present tailored digital media solutions using data and insights to support recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams (Ad Operations and others) to ensure campaigns are delivered seamlessly and meet client expectations.
Stay informed of industry trends, audience insights, and platform developments to remain a trusted advisor to clients.
Efficiently manage sales processes, systems, and reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability.
What You Need:
Education & Training
A tertiary qualification in Sales, Media, Marketing, or Communications (Degree preferred).
An established network within the digital agency and client space.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, including both programmatic and direct sales.
Ability to interpret and apply data and research insights (e.g., Narratiive, Google Analytics).
Detail-oriented with sound decision-making and leadership capability.
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital media sales, preferably within a leading media owner or platform.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and large audiences.
Familiarity with programmatic and direct digital advertising channels.
