? JD Specialized Recruitment is assisting a luxury 4* beach resort in Zanzibar with the recruitment of an experienced ????????? ???? ????. The Executive Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring consistently high culinary standards, exceptional guest satisfaction, and efficient kitchen administration. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on culinary expertise, and experience within beach resort environments. ➡️ A food portfolio must be submitted with your application, clearly showcasing creativity, innovation, and attention to detail. All images will be checked to ensure ownership. Key Responsibilities · Assist the Executive Chef in managing overall kitchen operations and food quality · Ensure consistent execution of menus across all outlets, including buffets and à la carte dining · Maintain food cost controls, portion control, and waste minimisation · Oversee hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards · Lead, train, and motivate kitchen teams to deliver high standards · Monitor stock levels, inventory control, and kitchen equipment maintenance · Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and quality feedback Requirements · Culinary Diploma from a recognised institution · Minimum 10 years’ experience, with at least 2 years in a senior kitchen management role · Proven beach resort operations experience · Strong knowledge of international and European cuisine · Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills · Fluent in spoken and written English Preferred nationalities : Tanzanian, Zanzibari, Kenyan, Indian or Asian Package & Start Date · Start Date: 2nd week of February 2026 · Salary: USD 2,750 net per month with live in benefits PLEASE NOTE – Although we appreciate all applications, we will only reply to those candidates who meet our clients specific requirements.
