Job Summary
Kruger Park Hostel is now seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide for Kruger Park Hostel | Marloth Park / Kruger National Park. This position is ideal for person with a love for immersive wildlife experiences and people. At Kruger Park Hostel, guiding is equal parts wildlife magic and people magic, one day you’re leading immersive game drives and bush walks through the Greater Kruger, the next you’re swapping stories at a hostel braai, belting out Karaoke, or joining an impromptu street‑party‑style social under the bushveld stars. Our guests are relaxed, curious, and fun, and we lean into that vibe - think dinners in Naas Township with local flavors, regular sunset walks that end in sundowners overlooking the Crocodile River, and the kind of campfire camaraderie that turns travelers into friends. Around here, our staff and volunteers aren’t just colleagues, they’re family: we look out for each other, pitch in across the camp, and create the kind of welcoming energy that makes every day feel like a shared adventure. If you love nature, live for connection, and want your guiding to feel like a shared story - not a script - you’ll feel right at home here.
