Our client, a well-established leader within the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking a Service Advisor to join their dynamic team in the Eastern Cape. Duties:

• Confirm customer requirements, repair scope, timing, and mobility needs, balancing workshop capacity and parts availability.

• Validate repair requirements through diagnosis, vehicle inspection, and test drives where necessary.

• Create comprehensive job orders in the DMS, utilizing up-to-date technical, repair, and parts information.

• Coordinate parts, technicians, tools, and equipment to support timely completion of repairs.

• Obtain customer approval for additional work and communicate repair progress or delays effectively.

• Verify repair quality through final checks and test drives, initiating corrective actions when needed.

• Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring timely follow-up until resolution.

• Support field analysis and product concern resolution with accurate DISS workshop findings.

• Conduct vehicle safety and roadworthiness assessments, ensuring unsafe vehicles are identified and repaired.

• Keep customers informed of repairs, safety concerns, and required corrective measures.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in an automotive service advisory role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

• Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and customer service standards.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively on-site within a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with the following:

• Automotive industry best practices.

• Workshop management systems.
