We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to take on the role of a Business Development Manager for our IT training courses in the Western Cape & KZN coastal regions. This role combines sales expertise with business development skills to drive growth and meet and exceed in sales revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring that the company's IT training programs are positioned as the premier solution for businesses in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for IT training courses within the coastal region.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, focusing on key decision-makers in corporate and educational sectors.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to enhance customer loyalty and increase repeat business.
- Present and sell IT training solutions to new and existing clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of the company's offerings.
- Achieve and exceed the assigned sales target through effective prospecting, presentations, and closing of deals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain consistent communication with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide tailored solutions to meet clients’ specific training needs and goals.
- Develop strategic account plans to maximize revenue and long-term business growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, inquiries, and requests efficiently.
- Sales Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, meetings, and client interactions within the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline progress, and market trends to management.
- Track and manage sales forecasting, budgets, and target achievement metrics.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and materials for the coastal region.
- Collaborate with the training delivery team to ensure that client expectations are met and courses are delivered effectively.
- Participate in company events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the brand and foster new business connections.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the IT training or education sector.
- Strong understanding of IT training solutions and trends in the technology industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Self-driven, target-oriented with a strong passion for sales and business development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the coastal region.
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
