Employer Description Specialist safari tour operator, offering tailor-made luxury safaris across Africa Job Description Our client is seeking a full-time Head of Marketing to expand their already significant online footprint, spearhead AI-driven growth and, most importantly, generate a steady stream of high-quality safari enquiries. The successful candidate will lead a team of talented marketers and report directly to the CEO. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Core focus areas: Expanding the company’s organic online footprint. Driving a consistent stream of high-quality safari enquiries. Adopting; refining and executing marketing strategies across paid, organic and offline platforms (including newsletters, apps, websites, social media, CRM and third‑party channels), with meticulous attention to planning, implementation, measurement and continuous improvement. Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team of marketers, copywriters, designers, videographers and social media managers to deliver on defined objectives and KPIs. Producing clear, timely and actionable reports to support strategic decision-making Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus). A minimum of 10 years of experience in the B2C luxury safari industry in a senior marketing role with a proven, results-driven track record – NON NEGOTIABLE Deep understanding and extensive hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, serving as the primary custodian of the company’s account. Strong expertise in Google Analytics and Google Ads; while supported by a dedicated GA account manager, your knowledge of luxury safari-specific campaigns is critical to guiding and optimizing team performance. Proven proficiency in applying the latest AI‑powered marketing tools and SEO strategies to expand online reach and generate high-quality safari enquiries. Experience with a CMS to create, edit and optimize website content would be advantageous Skills Exceptional administrative skills, with a sharp focus on accuracy, efficiency and detail. Willingness to lead by example this is a leadership role, but you’ll also be expected to roll up your sleeves and contribute directly when needed. HubSpot CRM – advanced proficiency in managing accounts, workflows and reporting. Google Analytics & Google Ads – strong expertise in campaign tracking, optimization and performance analysis. WordPress – skilled in content management, site updates and SEO integration. Canva & Photoshop – creative design capabilities for marketing collateral, social media and brand assets.
