Job Summary
Safari JOBS is recruiting for a highly capable, detail-driven Executive Housekeeper for a well-established luxury safari property that is actively raising its standards and positioning itself as one of the leading lodges in its region. This is a key leadership role for someone who takes genuine pride in immaculate presentation, spotless rooms, well-maintained guest areas, and the small details that quietly shape an exceptional guest experience. The successful candidate will oversee the full housekeeping function, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, room readiness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across the lodge. The property requires a strong, observant and proactive Executive Housekeeper who can walk into a room and immediately notice what needs attention — whether linked to housekeeping standards, maintenance concerns, linen, stock, guest amenities, or general lodge upkeep. Close communication with the maintenance team will be essential to ensure that any issues are identified, reported, and followed up timeously. This position will suit someone who is physically fit, hands-on, and comfortable in a demanding lodge environment that requires frequent inspections, constant movement around the property, and the ability to multitask under pressure. The owners are looking for someone who can lead from the front, guide and uplift a long-standing loyal team, and bring consistency, pride and polish into the department without needing to be micromanaged. Strong housekeeping administration is essential, including ordering, stock control, inventories, supplier coordination, reporting, and working confidently on a PMS system. This is an exciting opportunity for a mature, reliable and standards-focused housekeeping professional who wants to make a visible impact within a luxury lodge environment, set within a Big Five safari region less than 200km from Pretoria. ??????? ???????????? ??? ????????????
